Bracklesham Bay is a coastal bay, located on the west side of the Manhood Peninsula. The sandy beach is popular with divers and surfers and it is also a good spot for stand up paddlers. The best wind direction is from the north and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. In addition, swell size usually starts from 1 m/3 ft and can hold up to 2 m/6 ft.

Furthermore, the site is suitable for novice and advanced paddlers during summer months and for more experienced paddlers during winter. The best tide movement is rising tides and the ideal tide position is mid and high tide. Keep in mind that, the right side of the launch area usually produces better waves. Finally, Bracklesham provides with good facilities, including facilities for disabled people. Note: be careful of rips and undertow.
