Adler was once a town and now the main settlement of Adlersky City District, situated in Sochi, Russia. Adler is now a resort on the coast of Black Sea and it stays in the mouth of river Mzymta.
Being at the coast of Black Sea, Adler is a surfing hotspot, attracting all kind of surfers. One of the beaches in Adler, proper for all levels of surfers is Kudepsta Beach.
It is a very easy to find public beach, only 200 m/656 ft walk from the point you will stop your car. The normal wave quality and the sometimes break frequency will travel you to the world of surf. You will notice that the beach-break waves come from both directions, right and left with fun power. The bottom of the sea is sandy with rocks, creating the perfect base for your surfing experience.
The normal length of waves is short about 50 m/164 ft and the good day length reaches up to normal metrics about 50 to 150 m/164 – 492 ft. The swell on the other hand starts working at 1 – 1.5 m/ 3-5 ft and holds up to 4+ m/12+ ft. The best tide movement is rising and falling tides. The wind mainly blows from many directions and the average air temperature is medium.
The beach is not known to many people, so you will be glad to find that during all week it is empty, leaving plenty of space just for you. There are some dangers, man made mostly such as buoys, so please be careful. If you love surfing, Kudepsta Beach is an excellent place to surf!!!
