The swell size starts working at 1 m/3 ft and holds up to 2.5 m/8 ft. The optimum wind direction is from the northeast and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest.
Pererenan accommodates both the novice and advanced surfer. In addition, the best tide position is mid and high tide and the ideal tide movement is rising tide. At summer the wind blows onshore 68%, at autumn it blows 53%, at winter 84% and at spring 78%. Note that the surf break provides both right and left hand waves. Finally, be careful of undertow, rips and rocks.
