Saint Petersburg is a city situated on the Neva river, at the head of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea. The federal subject of Saint Petersburg has its name changed three times, from Saint Petersburg to Petrograd, then Leningrad and back to Saint Petersburg.
St. Petersburg is known for many things and especially the big water sports activity. Water sports enthusiasts ride anything that can be ridden on the water surface (and under) almost anywhere available! One of the places, where wakeboarding can be best practiced is Srednee Suzdalskoye Lake.
The facility there, besides the latest technology equipment, provides great amenities, such as an office building, inside comfortable dressing rooms, showers, equipment rental and also boxes for clothes storage.
Wakeboarding is a great experience in this area, as the fun features include a step down / rainbow/ incline, a roof-top / a-frame, an a-frame camel / fun box and a kicker right / kicker left. All the entertainment you get by exercising your favorite wakeboarding is completely safe, as the facility uses a cableway system of 5 pylons that was built in 2011.
The pylons are 12 – 14 m/39.4 – 45.1 ft high and have a length of 818 m/2684 ft and 10 carries. Bear in mind that it is strictly prohibited to bring your own food and drinks, as there is a restaurant in the area.
Nevertheless, the place is awesome and you will have an amazing time, performing your best wakeboarding. If you get lucky, you might stumble upon a wakeboarding contest, where a show is guaranteed! The facility is a big nature supporter, so please keep the lake clean.
