During summer, the wind blows from 10/25 kms, whereas in winter, the Tramuntana (mistral) wind blows at 20/45 kms. The on-shore conditions with 3 m/9 ft shallow waters are perfect for some tricks. In the afternoon the wind turns to side-shore from the right reaching up to 6 bf/22 kn.
Thanks to its location and the right conditions this 7 km/4.5 mi sandy beach is visited by many windsurfing enthusiasts every year. Apart from the endless entertainment, the spot offers many impressive cultural sites to visit.
