Ocean Beach is located in San Diego on the Southern coast of California.
The beach is a famous wind surfing spot in California because of the extreme weather conditions and streams from the north and south Pacific Ocean. There are big waves that can easily reach triple overhead offering-to extreme wind surfers- ideal opportunities for exploiting new maneuvers and techniques.
During summer (May through August) winds can reach up to 12 mph / 19 kph, which is ideal for wind surfing expeditions, so this is the best season to go. The beach seems to be a place that any windsurfer looks for a unique experience.
