Trinidad and Tobago is an island country that is situated just off the coast of northeastern Venezuela. The climate here is classified as tropical with two seasons annually, the dry and rainy season and the winds are usually influenced by the northeast trade winds. The islands are known not only for their beautiful sandy beaches, but also for their carnivals.

Whether you are looking for a tropical holiday destination or a superb sport destination, Tobago should be the first choice on your list! Favored by the excellent weather conditions and flat waters, this island offers a wide range of watersports. Pigeon Point is located at the south end of the island and it is considered by many as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

It is a long and wide beach with amazing white sand and clear blue waters. Although, it is very popular among sea enthusiasts, it never gets crowded. Pigeon Point is the ideal location for kitesurfing and windsurfing, due to the medium winds and flat, shallow waters. The beach is protected by the Buccoo Reef, creating excellent conditions for windsurfers of all experience levels. The best period to visit the spot is from mid to late December until May, when constant winds blow between 12 to 20 knots/22.2 to 37 kph. You can windsurf with winds blowing from the north to the east.

It should be mentioned that there is an entry charge to access the site, but it’s worth the money. The location provides a number of facilities, including showers, bathrooms and parking. Last but not least, apart from windsurfing, there are so many other activities on offer here, such as SUP, scuba diving, snorkeling and kitesurfing.
