Horizon Festival is organized in Bansko, the biggest ski resort in Bulgaria for the third year, and is a unique experience that combines both skiing and snowboarding along with some of the best electronic dance music in Europe. As Horizon has been awarded the "Best Overseas Festival" and "Best Indoor Festival" at this year’s UK and European Festival Awards, this is definitely an event no one should miss.
Bansko lies in south-western Bulgaria, in the foothills of Pirin Mountains and has one of the longest ski seasons in Europe boasting 70 km / 43.4 mi long of forested ski slopes, suitable for all skill levels. Horizon Festival is preparing a seven day non stop party, spread across thirty unique venues with an amazing line up of some of the hottest Club Brands, DJ’s and Record Labels in electronic music.
Dance genres include established House and Techno artists such as Moodymann, KiNK, Ben UFO, Move D and Egyptian Lover performing both on slopes and round the downtown clubs. Bass and Garage scenes will be represented by acts such as DJ EZ, Benton and Om Unit, while the Groove side of the festival will be covered with live appearances from Fatima, Submotion Orchestra, Mungo’s Hi-Fi and the Eglo Band.
In addition, alongside the non stop partying and snow, Horizon Festival will have a few extras for this year’s party goers.
