Shortly after the 2nd Tour Stop of the season, it's already time for the 3rd one. This means just one thing! Keep your eyes on Vans Penken Park for some of the best tricks on these legendary Alpine mountains.
Every single young and talented freeskier & snowboarder will be there trying to impress the international judges who will then decide who gets to leave with more cash in their pockets and a step closer to a professional career.
30 obstacles are already set-up for the event and rumors has it that park designer Oriol Rossel and his crew are preparing even more!
Besides the cash prize, the Penken Battle winners have plenty of goodies to collect. Mayrhofen Mountain Railways, Amplifi, QParks and Pinetime Clothing are offering equipment worth almost a total of 2.400€. Registration is free of charge, as well as all food and drinks for the riders!
Rankings, Cups & Points
Apart from collection valuable QParks Tour points, snowboarders have the chance to also collect points for the WSPL Ranking of the World Snowboard Tour and the World Rookie Rank. In addition, the Penken Battle is also a stop of the Austria Cup. Freeskiers on the other hand, can collect points for the ÖSV Freeski-Cup and the TSV Freeski-Landescup.
