La Rochelle is a beautiful place. Is there a better way to see the entire city than from above? You have an amazing opportunity to fly near La Rochelle at the La Rochelle Airport and admire the magnificent scenery and the city that is rising from the east. Skydiving is the perfect air sport to serve that purpose.
As in any skydiving jump, once you arrive at the airport, you meet the people that you will fly with like the pilot, the tandem master and the camera man and then you put on your jumping suit. Your instructor will provide you with the necessary information on the jump. For your first jumping, 15 minutes of briefing is enough. Then the fun part begins.
You will get on the aircraft and wait for about 15 minutes to get to the appropriate altitude of 3500 m /11482 ft above the ground. These 15 minutes will look endless while you are waiting with anticipation for the big moment. And then the big door opens and your tandem master will ask you the question you were waiting for. Are you ready to jump? Once you accept, you just jump into the vacuum.
After that, you just let the adrenaline to inevitably conquer your body and soul. At the appropriate height, your tandem master will launch the huge parachute and then the silence of the sky is the only thing you are focused on. Clearing your thoughts, the view is amazing as you will see the city of La Rochelle and the endless sea.
