Queenstown is considered by many sportsmen as the capital of extreme sports and adventure activities. It is situated in Otago region, in the South Island, New Zealand.
Snake Creek Motocross Park, else called Nanticoke River, is an privately owned track, which sits at an elevation of 50 to 70 ft/15 to 21 m. So, take a day off and gain momentum to reach your motocross activity at its peak and be sure that the park offers everything you need.
The park has a peewee track and a full motocross track. Both tracks are soil mixed and very well preserved. The terrain has mostly loose dirt, some trees and sand. It enables you to perform many small jumps and some large as well. There are also a few hazards, which are marked for your safe riding. However do not forget their existence. Snake Creek is designed to suit mostly amateurs, some novices and little experts.
The track is open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 11 am to 6 pm and weekends from 10 am to 5 pm. For motocross training classes, it is recommended to get in contact with the staff. The camping area, parking lot and entrance are free. With these conditions, Snake Creek Motocross Park definitely deserves to be visited.
