Hazlehurst is situated in the southeast Georgia, USA. It lies between the borders of Jeff Davis, Bacon and Appling counties but its main part belongs to Jeff Davis County. Hazlehurst is the county seat of Jeff Davis County with a population that continuously rises up. The city and its surroundings is perfect for off-road sports, extremely popular among quad biking riders in the area.

Dirt enthusiasts will love an ATV park near Hazlehurst, the Blue Pont ATV Park. This park has so many things to offer to a serious quad biking driver. It lies at an elevation of 250 – 300 ft / 76.2 – 91.4 m inside a forest. The 300 ac / 1.2 km² of water trails, kiddy track, cypress swamp, mud dogs, woods and sand and clay pits are offered for crazy driving, every first and third Saturday of the month from 10 am to 6 pm.

The trail is lightly maintained without any marks or rates. Apart from all the features described, you will also meet a little loose dirt, hard pack, sand and mud, little dust and rocks, water crossings, some sand and gravel pits, roads, rider traffic, intersections and more! Trees are all over the place so the shade is plenty, something really good, especially in a hot summer day.

Due to the lack of hazards, the trails are mostly suitable for amateurs and novices, there are some very difficult trails for experts though so everybody can be pleased. There is no permit required to drive the ATV’s. In the area there are some places where camping is allowed, so you can combine driving your ATV with an amazing weekend in the forest.

Bear in mind that there is no entrance or camping fee but riding has a fee per driver. Take your friends or come alone and enjoy the dirt into the forest.
