Lake Havasu is situated behind Parker Dam on the Colorado River, just on the border that joins California with Arizona.
With more than 100 km/62.1 mi of well marked trails, one of the best ways to discover the area and the mountains around, is to plan an organized tour with quad bikes.
The Raid Adventure Trail starts from the center of St Pée sur Nivelle village and takes you and your friends in an exciting exploration adventure through wild nature, green forests with eucalyptus and oaks, wide open meadows and onto the mountain at a height of 600 m/1968 ft, where you can admire breathtaking views of the countryside.
Once you reach the end of the trail, there is a great gourmet food stop in the Spanish side within a typical public house, where you can enjoy your company and share your experiences. The trail is approximately 90 km/56 mi long, about five and a half hours of quad biking fun, with steep uphills and technical zones, suitable for all skill levels and ages.
The experienced tour guides would lead you safely through the woods and explain everything you need to know on the way. The best season for this adventure is from Spring through Autumn, where you can enjoy the blooming forest and the warm combined Mediterranean and Atlantic Ocean’s climate.
