Abbott Sports Complex, Lincoln
The City of Lincoln is the capital of the state of Nebraska and the second-most populous city after Omaha. It is also the county seat of Lancaster County and the home of the University of Nebraska.
It is an off-road park, operated and vigorously maintained by the Anthony Dirt Riders Association. In the park you will find a 10 ac/40469 m² motocross track and 3 mi/4.83 km long of trails. For having an exciting activity, the track offers you an elevation of 1290 to 1320 ft / 393.2 to 402.4 m. Furthermore, for riding at this urban, man-made track, a membership is required at about $80 per year.
The park is open daily and services mostly amateur riders, some novices and little experts. You also find few obstacles along the track that are marked for your safety, but still to be riden with caution. Be also aware that there is a noise limitation, so a spark arresting silencer is required. In addition, before you visit the park, you are kindly requested to bring your quad biking insurance.
The parking lot, entrance and camping area are free of charge. So, visit this highly sought after spot, use your helmets, which are mandatory and let yourself have a lifetime experience.
