North Little Rock is located across the picturesque Arkansas River in Pulaski County, Arkansas. North Little Rock is the state’s sixth-largest city that includes beautiful lakes, magnificent parks, such as the Dickey-Stephens Park (home of the Arkansas Travelers minor league baseball team), Burns Park (one of the USA largest parks), walking and bicycling trails, recreational and entertainment facilities, which bloom throughout the city.
Sherwood on the other hand is a rather small city in close proximity to North Little Rock. Located in central Arkansas, rated by the Wall Street Journal as one of the ten best cities in the States, Sherwood is a worthy place to visit! It has many recreational opportunities year-round; the spring and summer sports leagues for all ages, golf, parks, fishing and swimming, lakes, dining, picturesque landscapes and of course one of the best places for supercross!
Highway 89 Raceway is located in Sherwood and it is a private owned 500 ac/2.02 km² park, suitable for Supercross practice and all levels of expertise. Its track mostly consists of loose dirt and little dust, hard pack and rocks. The park offers you tight riding and some exciting jumps. As all supercross tracks, it requires a skillful rider, but since it is still partially under construction (it will soon have many more steep jumps and obstacles), it would be an ideal place to test your skills, even if you are a newbie rider. And keep in mind that along with the supercross trail, there is also a motocross and arena cross track, as well as a freestyle park.
Open from 10.00 am to 6.00 p.m, Highway 89 Raceway gives you many hours of excitement and enough time to explore the beauties of Sherwood and the nightlife of North Little Rock!
