If you love mountain biking freeride, you should visit Craigburn Farm, inside the Sturt Gorge Recreation Park (30 min drive from Adelaide). Although the trail area is used for MTB races, it is open for public use as well.
There is a great variety of trails (1-3 km/1093.6 yd-1.9 mi long) you can choose from, but keep in mind the tracks are mostly addressed to intermediate riders. All tracks have natural obstacles, challenging terrain, some steep sections and moderate inclines.
