If you love mountain biking freeride, you should visit Fox Creek, in Mt Crawford Forest. Although the trail area is used for MTB races, it is open for public use as well. It offers a cross-country track (8 km/4 mi long) and several downhill tracks (2-3 km/1.3 mi-1.8 mi long), addressed mostly to intermediate/advanced riders.
All tracks have obstacles, challenging terrain and steep sections. For those who wish to ride outside the downhill area, there is a great number of trails leading to Adelaide Hills.
Note: All riders must wear helmets.

Wool Bay Jetty is another wonderful diving site located approximately 2.5 hours away from Adelaide, on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia.
Marion Bay is located in Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. Marion Bay is the doorstep to some of the best beaches in Australia, hosting a rich maritime history. In fact, the spot has lately become very popular among surfers. However the spot is also recommended for the scuba diving fans.
CD's Bommie is a challenging spot for scuba diving, located in Marion Bay, Yorke Peninsula. The spot is a huge 500 m/1640 ft across bommie that drops at 32 m/104 ft in depth.
The Wallaroo Jetty is one of Australia's longest jetties and is heavily used. Wallaroo is located at around 155 km/96 mi in the northwest of Adelaide. It was the discovery of copper in the late 1880s that led to the settlement. Wallaroo is part of the three towns which form the Copper Triangle.
Adelaide, the liveliest city in Australia, is the capital of South Australia state. The city is situated on the Adelaide Plains and more specifically at the north side of Fleurieu Peninsula. The city is built next to Torrens River and is surrounded by the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Gulf St Vincent
Port Giles Jetty is located close to Edithburgh in Yorke Peninsula. This is a long jetty which has an only shore diving access at the steps at the beginning of the jetty. It's almost impossible to make the end of the jetty and back to the steps again before running out of air.
Built in 1873, Edithburgh Jetty is 170 m/557 ft long and 12 m/39 ft wide, and it is considered to be the most popular dive in the Yorke Peninsula, at 250 km/155 mi in the west of Adelaide in South Australia, providing unlimited snorkeling and underwater photography.
