Haney Meadow Loop is located on the Central Cascade Mountain, at the Wenatchee National Forest. It is 7 mi/11.2 km long and has an elevation gain of 1600 ft/487 m. You can bike part of the trail in about eight hours or bike it all the way, which will take you about two days out and back.
The trail is open for mountain bike from April through late November. It is ideal for bikers of all skill levels, but the way up is difficult with lots of rocks, thus you may have to carry your bike. So a good physical condition is important. Haney Meadow Loop Trail is the place to go if you are seeking for peace and solitude.
You walk through dark forests, fantastic views of the mountains and many beautiful open meadows where you can enjoy biking. You will also come across a wide variety of plants and animals to observe. Don’t forget to take with you a map and a compass.
