Almeria, Andalusia
Almeria is a province of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, between Enix, Pechina and Nijar. With mountain sierras and 40 km / 25 mi seacoast terrain, Almeria is a great destination for extreme sport enthusiasts.
Kerio Valley descends at 1219 m/4000 ft. The valley consists of semi – tropical vegetation on the slopes and dry thorn bush at the base. Kerio Valley’s eroded blocks of the Eastern Rift Valley provide with a magnificent scenery. The valley is 80 km/49.7 mi at its widest point and a depth of 1219 m/4000 ft.
The floor of the valley is covered with thorn-bush and the biking tour lasts between 2-3 hours. All levels of bikers can enjoy the spectacular views in this escarpment. The terrain generally consists of a mixture of tarmac and red laterite roads.
Moderate riders can be treated to the highland plateaus and tarmac roads with excellent scenery while the hardcore riders can meet the challenging hills rising above the plateau with steep climbs and descents!!! Advance booking is required.
