Little Rock, the capital of Arkansas, is situated on the south bank of the Arkansas River. It has its name taken from the French explorer Benard de LaHarpe in 1721. It is a historic city with many museums, such as the Central High Museum, Children’s Museum and Discovery Museum. It also features awesome restaurants, exciting nightlife and offers many recreational activities to visitors.
The City of Little Rock offers over 60 parks and recreational areas. Boyle Park, the 250 ac / 1.2 km² urban park, features amenities such as a playground, picnic tables, parking, restroom, pavilions, paved trails, earthen trails, jogging, hiking and biking trails. Boyle Park has a series of three mountain biking trails, providing some great riding to the mountain biking enthusiasts.
Loop two is located near the 36th St and though it is not technically challenging, it offers a very good layout with a great mix of gentle climbs and short downhill sections. It can be ridden along a road or through a hillside trail that slopes down towards the end. This loop is ideal for intermediate riders who want to increase their leg strength and sprinting. It has so many switchbacks and rolling hills that makes it the perfect trail for harnessing your riding capabilities.
