Conditions may be surprising, as you can find different micro-climates from point to point. In summer, ski slopes are transformed into a mountain bike paradise.
All kind of level bikers can try to ride, as there are trails for everyone. You can ride in more than 80 mi/128.75 km of groomed single trails, with lift access to the 11053 ft/3369 m summit. At the entrance of the town, on State Highway 203 you can find California Welcome Center – Mammoth Lakes to purchase mountain biking trail maps and ask for information and route description.
