Kuala Lumpur is a huge city with a number of district articles with a lot to offer. Literally meaning "muddy river" in Malay, it is the federal capital and the largest city in Malaysia, covering an area of 243 km²/94 mi² long. Located in the center of Selangor State, Kuala Lumpur enjoys a tropical rainforest climate which is warm and sunny with abundant rainfall, especially between October and March.
Putrajaya Challenge Park contains some of the extreme parks in Asia and was originally a rubber and palm oil forest. Among the popular activities conducted here is the mountain biking trail. It is without doubt one of the most interesting and well designed trails to ride on while its length stretches to a challenging 9.1 km/5.6 mi long line.
Putrajaya MTB trail has even hosted the 2011 Putrajaya Bike Challenge, where 9 countries have participated and the winner of the challenge actually said that it was the most technical in Asia. The trail’s terrain consists of ridges, up switchbacks and down steep hills. Level of difficulty here is between easy and hard and is perfect for XC loop, downhill, free crossing, slope style line and downhill fun ride, lasting about 2 hours. The park is open on a daily basis from 10:00 to 19:00.
