Flagpole climb is located in Stewart Range, in the area of the famous Enchantment Lakes. It is a remote rock, with top elevation at 7900 ft/2407 m, suitable for rock climbing from May to October. The skill level required for this climb is grade III, class 5,7. It is an unusual climb on a sharp section and finishes with a bolt ladder.
Once you reach the top, the summit is spectacular, offering amazing views of the Enchantment Lakes and the surrounding summits. Becky-Schoening Route is not a very popular destination for rock climbers but it is definitely a very rewarding one. Take a map and a compass, ice axe and crampons, a small rack, aiders and loops with you.
