Naches is a small agricultural town in Yakima County, located in the Naches Valley, next to the Cascade Mountain and Wenatchee National Forest. White Pass ski resort is a few miles in the west of Naches Town.

The ski resort is perfect for snowshoeing for all skill levels and very well organized with an 11 mi/18 km Nordic Network. Pacific Crest Trail is 16 mi/26 km long, with an elevation gain of 1200 ft/365 m. It is suitable for all skill levels for those who choose to walk as a day hike out and back. However, for those who wish to walk the whole trail, they must be experienced and well prepared for spending two nights camping in the snow.

The route is breathtaking. You trek past alpine lakes, dense forests and climb rounded hills. Always carry a map and compass and if you are planning to spend the night on the mountain, be very well equipped with low temperatures gear.
