Monster Jam…just began!

The well-known Monster Jam is a live tour as much as a television show that is operated by Feld Entertainment. This extreme sport takes place in the USA, sanctioned under the United States Hot Rod Association. Monster Jam is about racing and freestyle competitions by monster trucks.

Fans who attend a motorsport event, have the opportunity to meet any performer over the “Pit Party” and autograph sessions. Moreover, drivers autograph memorabilia, flags, clothing etc.

Monster trucks can deal with both Racing and Freestyle competitive forms. Smaller shows usually consist of a wheelie competition and a donut contest. Wheelie competition’s goal is to hit a ramp and get big air while remaining perpendicular to the ground. In the donut contest, drivers try to spin their truck until they get dizzy, the truck being unable to go any more.

The freestyle competition allows just 90 seconds with a bonus of 30 seconds time period to the drivers. The competition consists of 3 judges each giving a score out of 10. There are two winners from both events, however if the same person that won racing also won freestyle, then they get the Double Down trophy.

The tour begins in the spring each year and ends in March with the World finals in Las Vegas every year. The tour visits many major cites in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia as well.
