The QParks Tour 2015/2016
Ready for take-off or not, the QParks Tour 2015/2016 has begun and is already counting two very successful events and soon going for the 3rd! The majestic scenery of the European Alpine region is the “audition stage” for all the rising talents of freeskiing and snowboarding.
The QParks Tour, for the sixth consecutive year, is highly supporting and focusing on the upcoming extreme starts of the future, offering a home-like atmosphere, where all athletes feel among friends. The QParks Tour is an open call to all talented freeskiers and snowboarders, inviting them to reach for new limits and show off their skills. The easygoing atmosphere cultivated by the organizers is the perfect environment for the talented youngsters to push themselves harder and go after the possibility of launching a professional career.
As in previous five seasons so in this, tempting cash prizes, plenty of gear prizes and other competitions are a great motivation for all to participate. The 6o,ooo Euros of cash prizes and the high-quality gear offered by TSG and Amplifi, are a great boost for every extreme sport athlete chasing the dream to Pro.
The QParks Tour is really all about the rising stars, offering free registration to all three categories available: men, girls and rookies. These three categories are the only limit that the Tour sets, everything else being free to try! Competitors are collecting points at each Tour Stop, aiming to qualify for the grand finals at the Dachstein glacier.
With so many stops allover Europe – Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland – it is only natural that the circumstances under which the riders are competing each time differ. The setup, the weather conditions, not to mention the so many languages to communicate in! A new adventure and new fascinating people to meet await for the riders in every country and event they find themselves in.
Besides the adventure, all these are happening for the points! Not just the QParks Tour points, but also for the World Snowboard Tour and the Work Rookie Rank. The riders who are also taking part in the Austria Cup, can also improve their ranking for that too, with the points they collect at the QParks Tour.
The riders are not the only ones who try to show-off their skills though. A very talented team of photo- and film-crew are also there agonizingly giving it their all to capture every stunt and trick from the best angle possible. In this Tour, riders, spectators, organizers and supporting crews becoming one, with one ultimate purpose! To have fun, doing what they love most among friends.
