On the northeast of beautiful Mount Hood lies the ski area of Cooper Spur.
An unforgettable place to experience many adventures near nature and practice your favorite sport. Apart from the ski area for winter activities, Cooper spur is a great place to visit during summer months as well. A lot of people come here for cycling into the woods of Mount Hood and wander around the trails of the resort.
The 18.7 mi/30.1 km of trails give great adrenaline rush to riders and the elevation reaches up to more or less 1750 vertical ft/533.4 m. The ride begins and ends at Cooper Spur resort, passing through different landscapes, from the tranquil setting of Hood River Valley to a wilder nature, while ascending the mountain. This circuit gets more difficult at the end, challenging even more the strength and skills of the riders going up the hills.
