Torres del Paine is located in Southern Patagonia and is one of the numerous spectacular national parks in Chile. It was created in 1959 and UNESCO has listed the location as a Biosphere Reserve since 1978. This place is a wonder land for nature enthusiasts from all over the world.

Horse back riding is a fantastic way to discover the national park area. Chilean Horses are quick and courageous with extraordinary endurance. Rio Nutria is a wonderful green river, with an important ecosystem of many birds and fish. The ride starts from the Rio Serrano river, where you can ride along the crystal clear waters of the river and there is plenty of space at the pampas for galloping. The area around is wide and you ride through ancient Patagonian hawthorn woodlands, until you reach the Rio Nutria river.
Once you get there, you can relax and explore the shoreline. In every step you take, the views of this dramatic land take your breath away. You can ride this trail all year round, but the best time to visit Torres del Paine is between November and February. Be very well prepared in regards with gear, food and clothing because the weather is changeable and unpredictable with high winds, rain showers, long hot days during summer, snow and everything else you may think of. Wind proof layers are the key.
