Bermuda, also known as the Bermudas, is situated off the east coast of the United States. It might seem as a long distance destination, but in fact it is less than 2 hours away from most eastern US airports. Bermuda enjoys a humid subtropical climate, with mild and windy winters and hot summers.The island is divided into nine parishes and two incorporated municipalities. Hamilton is the capital city of Bermuda. It is a wonderful, harbor city full of sights of historical interest, beautiful gardens and incredible restaurants.

Bermuda is home to a number of shipwrecks, the majority of which can be rated as amazing dive sites. But that is not all, as it also provides excellent reef dive locations. The Cathedral is a popular spot for reef diving.

It is situated close to the opening of Castle Harbour and it features an abundance of caves, canyons and crevices, where crabs and lobsters usually find shelter. It accommodates an outstanding marine life, including schools of Ocean Tarpon and Snappers. If you decide to visit the area during spring months, then you will also see vast schools of colorful Parrot Fish passing by.

The average depth here is 10 m/32.8 ft and the maximum depth is 13.7 m/44.9 ft. Visibility is good and varies from 10 m/32.8 ft to 30 m/98.4 ft and the water temperature ranges between 19 °C/66 °F and 26 °C/78 °F. In addition, the best period to visit Cathedral is during spring and fall months and it is appropriate for divers of all skill and experience levels.
