Puerto Rico is situated in the northeastern Caribbean and consists of an archipelago that includes the main island of Puerto Rico and a number of smaller islands. The climate here is classified as tropical marine climate, with an average temperature of 82.4°F/ 28°C, throughout the year. Although it is a small island, the smallest island of the Greater Antilles, Puerto Rico provides superb natural surroundings, countless adventure experiences and many places of historical interest.

Aguadilla is located on the northwestern side of Puerto Rico and has some of the best surfing beaches along the entire coast. Crash Boat Beach or Playa Crash Boat is situated in Aguadilla. Its name derives from the beach’s former use as a military port by the United States Air Force. If you are looking for a place full of adventure and fun, then Crash Boat is definitely the best choice for you. There are many activities on offer, including scuba diving and snorkeling.

It is an easy shore dive with an interesting marine life, waiting to be explored. Divers can admire a vast number of tropical Caribbean and Atlantic species, such as tangs, angelfishes, goatfishes, moray eels, butterflyfishes, snappers, sea turtles, wrasses, octopus, and seahorses. In addition, you are able to explore the platforms, below which you can see an abundance of colorful fish and beautiful corals. The average depth of the spot is 9.1 m/29.9 ft and the maximum depth is 24.4 m/80.1 ft. Currents are generally not strong and visibility is good, ranging from 10 m/32.8 ft to 30 m/98.4 ft. Crash Boat is suitable for both the novice and advanced diver.

Finally, after a performance of this exciting sport, you can visit Las Cascadas Water Park, which is the largest water park in the Caribbean. Note: be careful of boat traffic and fishing hooks, as Crash Boat Beach is also a popular fishing location.
